Augspurger® is breaking the price/size/performance barrier with the Solo 8 system. The Solo 8 is designed for midfield use in small and medium-sized control rooms and as surround speakers in multi-channel immersive listening environments. For the first time, the Solo8 system allows for a portable solution for those who insist on having genuine Augspurger® monitoring for their remote projects.

This system is engineered to provide LF extension to 35Hz, so many users can go sub-less, making the most of your dollars. The Solo 8 system can be further enhanced and expanded to a 3-way system by adding a pair of our articulate low frequency extension cabinets – SUB 12, SUB 212 and SUB 18 – which will extend LF to 20 Hz (room dependent) and increase overall output.

The compact cabinet fits into nearly any space and many users enjoy and trust the Solo 8 as both nearfields and main monitors, owing to their full presence and in credible detail at all listening levels. Solo 8 clients include mix engineer/producer Jean-Marie Horvat (credits include Jessie J, Michael Jackson, Trey Songz, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and more).

2-way active design featuring CNC milled MDF cabinets housing an 8” carbon fiber-loaded paper cone low/mid woofer, with ferrite magnets, a 4” 99.98% pure beryllium HF compression driver on our solid maple MF “Mid Focus” horn mounted on a 1.5” thick MDF front baffle.

System includes:
· Eight IsoBass Blocks for decoupling the cabinets,
· Two Augspurger® Power SXE-3D 3-way DSP amplifiers,
· Two 15 ft. 4-conductor Klotz-AIS Speaker cables with NL-4
Speakon connectors (MF/HF),
